Concept: Right now there are Career Express and Simplicity. These are resources at BMCC CUNY, which are lists of companies that may or may not have employment opportunities available. There is no clear pipeline for students to these resources, and moreover, these are not adequate resources for the very talented diverse multidisciplinary students we have. Resources are not delineated by department majors or skill sets or students from other disciplines who take courses in our MEA department. Media Arts and Technology is ubiquitous, so we want to be able to offer our majors and fellow students a pathway to lifelong learning beginning with internships, apprenticeships, and co-ops to full employment within NYC, the world’s largest major media market.

Hanna is working on short documentaries about BMCC students as a Director, DP, and Video Editor, overseeing script development, filming direction, camera operation, lighting setup, audio recording, location scouting, and video editing with color correction and grading.
